What to Expect This 2‑hour standalone skill class combines demonstration and guided practice. Perfect for complete beginners, the session covers everything from threading a needle to finishing your work professionally. The instructor will demonstrate how to transfer designs onto fabric and work with yarn to create clean, beautiful lettering. Participants will spend the session practicing on a sweater, walking away with a finished custom piece and a printed pamphlet for future reference. Skills You’ll Acquire Needlework Basics: Threading an embroidery needle specifically for yarn work. Core Stitches: Mastering the backstitch and chain stitch. While sweaters are provided, participants are welcome to bring their own clean, basic, solid-color sweater if they prefer to personalize a specific item from their own closet.
