| Details | Join award-winning poet, author, and LGBTQ activist Emanuel Xavier for the New Haven release of his latest poetry collection, Still, We Are Sacred. Following a sold-out launch at the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center in New York City, Xavier brings an evening of poetry, reflection, and community to Possible Futures. Emerging from New York City’s ballroom and spoken word scenes, his work draws from lived experiences of survival, identity, and healing, centering queer and Latinx voices. The evening will include a reading from the new collection, followed by a conversation and book signing. Books will be available for purchase on site. Friday, April 24, 2026 6:30 PM Possible Futures 318 Edgewood Avenue, New Haven, CT Free and open to the public.
