| Details | Join us in Buley Library for a tour of “Bicentennial $chlock 2.50: Buying and Selling ‘American’™ Patriotism in 1976,” an exhibit that was created by Professor Jason Smith’s history class this spring. Bicentennial Schlock 2.5 shows the various ways that patriotic and history-themed imagery is used in advertising and marketing of common goods as varied as beer cans and food wrapping in 1776 and 2026. Join us and bring your own schlock and memories of the 1976 Bicentennial, if you have them! The tour will be conducted by graduate student Lisa C. O. Brandes.
