| Details | Katahdin Furniture, 60 Whitney Avenue, New Haven, will host a sales event and fundraiser, Comfort in Concert, to benefit Neighborhood Music School (NMS). The campaign kicks off on August 1 and runs through August 31. Customers will enjoy a 35 percent discount on floor samples of upholstered furniture and Katahdin Furniture will donate 10 percent of these sales to NMS. Katahdin Furniture will also donate 20 percent of all toy sales in August. Plus, customers can support Katahdin’s in-store toy collection for NMS by purchasing items from their wish list, which will be donated to programs at NMS including The Preschool at NMS, ATLAS Middle School and Music in Motion classes among others. The campaign will kick off with an event on August 6 from 6 — 7pm at Katahdin Furniture with music by NMS students and after-hours shopping. Customers are encouraged to stop by to witness the power of arts education. |
