Mon Oct 19 , 5:30 – 6:45 pm

Hosted by The Eckhart Center at Albertus Magnus College
Details

In Magnifica Humanitas, Pope Leo XIV names human arenas in which we need to be on guard against the potential of AI to reduce the human person to data as a “cog in the machine.” Responding to the encyclical, Albertus faculty and a student respondent will explore the impact of A.I. in these arenas:

*Politics and Public Life (William Aniskovich)

*Education (Donna Pallanti and Isabella Barreiro ’28)

*Labor (Ross Edwards)

*Dependencies and New Forms of Slavery (Eric Schoeck)

A livestream will be available (RSVP to receive the link). RSVP at: albertus.edu/eckhart
