Details N A M I B I A @KLG: October 16 – November 15

Penrhyn+Rod Cook returned to Africa in 2025 for the fourth time and expected the familiar thrill of the bush, but not to fall so deeply under its spell all over again. It was Namibia, a magnificent country woven from a tapestry of nature, culture, and history which made that trip stand apart from previous African adventures. Scenery ranged from the extraterrestrial landscape of the world’s oldest desert, to fog-cloaked shores of the Skeleton Coast to the salt pans of Etosha National Park, a sanctuary for wildlife that has miraculously adapted to the harsh, arid conditions. The unique quality of the Cooks’ images is achieved by incorporating layers of texture into the final prints.

Join us for the Opening Reception to witness the wild and beauty in person! Ask away to find out how the Cooks were able to capture and create such bewildering and awesome images! 3pm artists’ talk!

Please note: Both Penrhyn and Rod Cook will be in the gallery during New Haven Open Studios Westville Weekend, Oct 24 and 25, during KLG regular gallery hours 12 – 5pm. All events free of cost
