Details | Learn how to screen print with local artist and educator Ana Henriques. Starting with abstract shapes and building up to more complex designs, students will cut and create paper stencils using reference material found in class or at home as inspiration. Over seven weeks, practice mixing colors, registering your screen, and making a series of prints on paper. The class will also cover the photo-emulsion method, printing on textiles, and adding mixed-media elements such as embroidery to your designs. An exciting introductory foray into the world of screen printing, for both beginners and those with some experience. |
