Details | Join the Seymour Library and paranormal investigator Barry Pirro on a free Zoom presentation on the mysterious death of the author Edgar Allan Poe. The death of Poe and the events leading up to the said death is one of the great unsolved mysteries of the United States. When Poe left Richmond, Virginia bound for Philadelphia, Poe was a happy man looking forward to a new life with his childhood sweetheart and soon to be wife Sarah Shelton. Five days later, he was found lying in a gutter…delirious, unkept, and wearing someone else’s clothes. His delirium continued, he repeatedly called out a stranger’s name. Four days later he was dead. Join Barry Pirro as he will discuss Poe’s life, his health and mental state, the puzzling details of his last days, and the many theories surrounding his mysterious death.
