Details | The Nu Haven Kapelye’s annual December 25th klezmer concert returns in 2021. The festive concert will feature traditional and new klezmer music as well as Yiddish songs. The evening will begin with Havdalah, a ceremony marking the end of Shabbat. The event will now be over Zoom. This is the link to access the Zoom invite: https://cmi.shulcloud.com/form/KapelyeConcert The Nu Haven Kapelye, led by artistic director David Chevan, is a multi-generational community ensemble dedicated to preserving and reinvigorating the Eastern European musical tradition of klezmer and passing it on to the next generation. To make the event as safe as possible, musicians will be masked and will have covers for their instruments. All audience members must be fully masked, and everyone ages 5 and up must show proof of full vaccination before entering the synagogue. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors & children under 13, and $20 for families of 4 or more. Tickets are available in advance at or at the door.
