Kallos Chamber Music Series

Kallos is honored to present its mid-season program, Cracks in the Glass Ceiling,” which includes music by groundbreaking women composers Clara Schumann, Rebecca Clark, as well as living-American-composers Augusta Read Thomas and Jennifer Higdon. These composers have shared with us more than just beautiful music; their talent, determination, tenacity, and courage have contributed to establishing an inspiring space for women in the world of classical music.

This event offers general admission seating in the New Haven Lawn Club Ballroom. Doors open for a pre-concert reception at 7:00 PM and general admission ticket holders are welcome to claim an unreserved seat in the ballroom at this time. In addition to the pre-concert reception, refreshments will also be available during intermission. All refreshments and off-street parking in the New Haven Lawn Club lot are complimentary.

There will be limited reserved seating in front for concert series sponsors and their guests. To inquire about sponsorship and reserved seating please email the New Haven Lawn Club Preservation Trust (nhlcptrust@gmail.com).

The NHLC Preservation Trust was created in 2017 as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. The mission of the NHLC Preservation Trust is to raise funds to maintain the Lawn Club’s historic clubhouse by hosting events such as the Kallos Music Series that are open to the New Haven community.

COVID-19 Vaccination (minimum 14 days past second shot) is required for entry. Please bring your vaccination card or clearly legible photo of your vaccination card on your phone and a valid photo ID. All staff at the New Haven Lawn Club are vaccinated. Masks are required for all ticket holders and staff despite vaccination status. You may pull your mask down when eating or drinking only. These policies will remain in place until further notice.
