Recycling not wishcycling: In person and free

Wed Jul 20 , 6 – 7 pm

Hosted by Seymour Public Library
Details In 2015 Nutmeggers have recycled and composted about 35% of our waste in Connecticut – which translates a disposal of an estimated 1370 pounds of trash per year per person(Conn. Dept. of Energy & Environmental Protection figures) . We can do better and learn what can be recycled, how the waste can be recycled and where the recycling can be turned in.
This program is presented by the good people of the Kellogg Environmental Center who will provide you with the information to improve your recycling and hopefully clear up misunderstandings for an increased waste reduction. We all can do better!
No registration is needed for this program – for more information please call the Library at 203 – 888-3903 or email sgarvey@biblio.org.
