Details Did you ever wonder how Griffin Hospital came to be? Or why Shelton has Indian Well State Park? Come find out at Osborne Homestead Museum on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 1 p.m. Learn how the members of the Woman’s Club of Ansonia, Derby, and Shelton did much more than sit around drinking tea! With Frances Osborne as its president, beginning in 1925, the club made inroads with social, cultural, and civic programs in the Valley towns. These women made positive improvements for all the residents of the three towns and had the capability to impact future generations. Hear all the fascinating details in a program presented by Pat Sweeney, museum educator. Please call 203 – 734-2513 to register.
