Details | The Seymour Library is hosting a free quilting workshop to learn how to piece quilting patterns with Dawn Zillich, Dawn is a Burda Style Certified instructor and Oliso affiliate. The class will learn in five sessions different classic American quilting patterns. The Library has a small number of sewing machines available which limits the class size. A skill with basic machine sewing is needed. Call the Library or email sgarvey@biblio.org to register or for more information. The sessions will run for two hours on Tuesdays (except for the first class on Thursday) from 6 – 8 pm. The first session on March 30th will teach the pattern “Rail Fence”. The second session on April 18th will teach how to piece Patchwork. The third session on May 2nd will teach the pattern “Bear Paw”. The fourth session on May 9th will teach the pattern “Churn Dash”. The fifth and final session will teach the pattern “Sawtooth Star”. |
