Details | The Seymour Library is hosting a series of food demonstrations that hope to combine sound nutrition with appetizing and flavorful foods in new palatable combinations. Caty Poole’s demonstration and tasting today will be on locally grown greens. Greens can eaten in many ways – raw or cooked and has many health benefits to offer, Adding greens to your diet can lower blood sugar and boost immunity. More information about the Nutrition on Wheels food demos can be found by calling the Library at 203 – 888-3903. Registration is required for this program which can be done in person, by calling the Library or by emailing sgarvey@biblio.org.
