| Details | Seymour Library again welcomes Jeff Belanger – one of New England’s foremost storyteller and researcher of folklore and legends– as he puts the scary back in Christmas! He’s the award-winning Emmy-nominated host, writer and producer of the “New England Legends” on PBS and Amazon Prime and is the author of over a dozen books on the unexplained. He also hosts the popular weekly podcast tie-in “New England Legends”. Join us as Jeff brings the scary back to the Yuletide time of year with Creepy Christmas! From the origins of the holiday to the monsters like the Krampus, Belsnickel and Gryla, to the ghosts that lurk in the red and green shadows Jeff will take you on a multi-media journey of haunting holidays! Registration is not necessary for this program. Because this is a special program after normal library computers and circulation will remain closed for the evening.
