| Details | Author, Lisa See, will be joining us virtually to discuss her latest book, Lady Tan’s Circle of Women, which is inspired by the true story of Tan Yunxian — a woman born in the 15th century who became a doctor of women and girls. This book is not only a captivating story of women helping women, but is also a triumphant reimaging of a woman who was remarkable in the Ming dynasty and would be considered remarkable and inspirational today. Participants are encouraged to bring questions for the author. Feel free to bring your own tea cup or mug (cups will also be available). Tea and coffee provided! Registration is requested. |
