| Details | NOTE ON END TIMES: The end time of 2:00PM actually only applies to Saturdays because for simplicity’s sake and as a time saver, 2:00 was entered when inputting this event/activity to the calendar for all days of the week when the library is open; however, the library’s hours are as follows: Mon.-Wed. 9AM-7PM (through MARCH 31ST), Thurs. & Fri. 9AM-5PM, and Sat. 9AM-2PM. Derby Public Library Celebrating Mystery Date with a Book February 1 through 28 Let us be your book matchmaker! ‑Staff members select their favorite books revolving around love and other genres. ‑The books will be wrapped, so you won’t be able to judge a book by its cover if you take part in this unique event. Go on a blind date with a book and perhaps it will be love at first sight! If you don’t enjoy it, no hurt feelings, just dump it (in the library book drop!). Readers are requested to fill out a “rate your date” card, located inside the book. Place the completed card inside the book when you return it.
