| Details | Come to the Kellogg Estate in Derby, Connecticut on Sunday, August 17, 2024, from 12 pm to 4 pm to take part in the Lawn Games Olympics. Enjoy and compete in various games such as croquet, ring toss, bocce, and more. All outdoor games will be played on the front lawn of the Kellogg Estate grounds. Bring your own games, too! The Kellogg Estate encompasses the Osborne Homestead Museum and Kellogg Environmental Center and is located at 500 Hawthorne Avenue, Derby, CT and operated by the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. The Osborne Homestead Museum, a facility of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s State Parks & Public Outreach Division, is open for free docent-led and self-guided tours on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is located at 500 Hawthorne Avenue off Rte. 34 in Derby, CT. The Kellogg Environmental Center, a facility of the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s State Parks & Public Outreach Division, is open 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.
