| Details | Registration is REQUIRED at the More Info link below. Do you have the spookiest house? Come to the Library to pick up a blank haunted house while supplies last! Decorated haunted houses will then be put on display after they are returned by you! 2 prizes will be awarded to the best Haunted Houses: 1 by Adults, 1 by Children/Families. See below for details. Come to Derby Public Library on Wed. October 1 OR Thurs. October 2 to pick up a blank haunted house while supplies last! Starting the weekend of Oct. 9, houses will be on display! You’ll have a week to decorate your house before returning it to the library between Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, October 9, 10, 11. There will be 2 winners: best decorated haunted house by an ADULT and one by CHILDREN/FAMILIES. Registration is REQUIRED as haunted houses are limited. Pick up and drop off will be down in Children’s Department. They will be on display in the Children’s Department and Reading Room where they will ne judged by the Friends of DPL the week of October 13th, with the winners announced Saturday, Oct 18. All the contestants can pick up their haunted house projects after October 18th to take home. |
