| Details | The Derby Neck Library is offering a brand new book club for parents, guardians, and caregivers of children to discuss strategies and techniques for effective parenting in a nonjudgmental space. Each month, we’ll read a title from a pediatrician, a psychologist, or a memoir, and consider how the information we gather might be useful in practice. We will also share personal experiences and challenges to troubleshoot as a team. Parenting is one of the toughest and most important endeavors a person can take on, but we don’t have to do it alone. With open minds (and books), we can support each other, learn together, and grow together. This month, we’ll be discussing the book TBA. You can grab a copy from our library to read beforehand. |
