Traditional Memorial Day Ceremony hosted by the Woodbridge Ave Honor Roll Committee. A neighborhood event dating back to 1944 with the first Memorial Day Ceremony held at the then wooden Honor Roll structure. The military service will be led by Emil Senger American Legion Post #10 of Seymour, led by Commander Michael Kearney, and will include local Veterans organizations including Gordon Visselli American Legion Post #50 of Ansonia, St. Michael’s Post #1562 Catholic War Veterans of Derby, VFW Post 12084, and many more! The invocation and the benediction will be performed by Pastor Lisa Bosworth of the Seymour United Methodist Church, The event will be emceed by Victor Lembo. In the event of light rain, the event will go on. Heavy rain/severe weather will cancel.
