All are welcome to join a garden led session at Ansonia’s Salvation Army community garden at 26 Lester Street, Ansonia, CT. Involves weeding, water, planting and harvesting of vegetables, herbs and sometimes flowers. This garden is part of Valley Community Gardens, a collective of communally operated gardens growing produce for local residents and food pantries. No buy in or plot rental required. A hat, sunscreen and water bottle are recommended. Other garden tools provided.
