Sundays are fun days! Enjoy free, family games at the Kellogg Estate and Osborne Homestead Museum in Derby, Connecticut every Sunday, 12 pm‑4 pm, starting in August. Play various lawn games like croquet, ring toss, indoor and outdoor Seek-and-Finds, and more. Bring your own games, too!

Beginning in August on Sundays, the OHM will provide monthly self-directed activities to play outdoors and indoors. Each month will have a different theme. The games for the month of August will be outdoor lawn games. The front lawn of the Kellogg Estate grounds will be the setting for games, such as lawn bowling and ring toss. In September every Sunday, except for September 27th, will feature outdoor and indoor seek-and-find activities. October will feature museum activities to learn about art conservation and history. Drop in, choose a game or several to play, and enjoy. Games are appropriate for all ages. No registration is required. This is a free event.

The Kellogg Estate encompasses the Osborne Homestead Museum and Kellogg Environmental Center and is located at 500 Hawthorne Avenue, Derby, CT and operated by the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. The Osborne Homestead Museum, a facility of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s State Parks & Public Outreach Division, is open for free docent-led and self-guided tours on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is located at 500 Hawthorne Avenue off Rte. 34 in Derby, CT. The Kellogg Environmental Center, a facility of the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s State Parks & Public Outreach Division, is open 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.
