Details Calling all detectives, treasure seekers, and puzzle solvers! Come to the Hunt for the Giant Golden Goblet at the Osborne Homestead Museum on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 12noon to 4pm. Learn about history, art, and more with a map and clues that will lead you to the hidden treasure! If you want all the fame, play solo. If you’re willing to share the wins, play as a team. Just bring your thinking caps, skills, talents, and A‑Game to find the missing golden goblet!

This is a free, family-friendly event, and participants can play the game at their own pace. Meet at the check-in table at the gate leading to the Osborne Homestead Museum to get your map and directions. Unlock all three levels, get the clues, then do the indoor hunt inside the museum to solve the final clue that will lead you to the hidden treasure! The Osborne Homestead Museum, a facility of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s State Parks & Public Outreach Division, is open for free docent-led and self-guided tours on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is located at 500 Hawthorne Avenue off Rte. 34 in Derby, CT. The Kellogg Environmental Center, a facility of the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s State Parks & Public Outreach Division, is open 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.
