Try painting this fall – it’s easy – just start with one color as you look at light and shadow on simple forms. Then learn how to arrange shapes on a canvas or board and see and mix colors. Go farther and explore ways of applying paint and creating a feeling of space around objects. Other artists’ works will be discussed in class and students will share what interests each person about their paintings. Please bring tubes of black, and white paint to the first class along with a flat bristle brush. A full materials list is attached below. Tuition for this class includes a fee of $10 for basic materials provided by CAW.
